The aim of the programme is to develop competent Production Engineers that are able to to collect and evaluate field data; monitor and analyse performance of integrated production systems and develop models to maximise potential; update production forecasts; prepare inspection/intervention tasks to well and production equipment maintenance and integrity requirements; configure wells and facilities to defined operating requirements, and specifications; develop conceptual completion designs or modify existing ones; and identify causes, threats to integrity and recommend mitigation measures for corrosion and solids deposition in the production system.
