Production System OptimisationWe generate well/system models to compare actual performance with predicted performance; identify wells that are not optimised or not performing well and review, select, and implement options to improve performance; conduct “what-if” studies for both existing assets and the addition of new wells/facilities to identify potential bottlenecks and opportunities for increasing production; we also determine well production potential, taking into consideration any reservoir management issues and systems constrains. |
Well Integrity AssuranceThis service is provided in operations and enhancement projects, usually following identification of irregularities in well pressure or other parameters. Well engineers, production technologists, and surface and subsurface specialists work together to achieve asset integrity assurance, identify potential production constraints, and prevent the in-service failure of mature and marginal fields. Well integrity is ensured by establishing and reviewing its operating boundaries; and activity proposals are generated for resolving emerging issues. |

Well Modelling & PerformanceWe define the operating boundaries for the well using the appropriate models; calculate its inflow and outflow performance; determine the optimum artificial lift methods taking into consideration the life cycle costs and providing details of the downhole equipment and associated topside equipment. We identify wells where the production can be improved by water or gas shut-off treatments; evaluate remedial treatment methods and select, design, and evaluate the optimum one; and also identify wells which have inflow or injection impairments, using production/injection data and analysing potential impairment mechanisms. |
Water Production Control & ManagementAn integrated system approach for evaluating the need for water production control, and for providing advice on remedial measures along with documented recommendation of more appropriate operating practices; it is carried out by teams of completion engineers, production technologists and subsurface specialists. |
