Our expertise
We provide the expertise of our well engineers to define well engineering operating modes; develop well design options; design well trajectory, drillstring, and casing scheme; prepare drilling, cementing, and completion programmes; and plan, design, and supervise the execution of well engineering construction, workover and abandonment operations.
We provide the expertise of production engineers to collect and evaluate field data; monitor and analyse performance of integrated production systems and develop models to maximise potential; update production forecasts; prepare inspection/intervention tasks to well and production equipment maintenance and integrity requirements; configure wells and facilities to defined operating requirements, and specifications; develop conceptual completion designs or modify existing ones; and identify causes, threats to integrity and recommend mitigation measures for corrosion and solids deposition in the production system.
We provide the expertise of reservoir engineers to perform acquisition and management of data of proper quality; analyse and interpret experimental data; gather reservoir performance data to enable proper reservoir management; determine expected reservoir performance to enable optimisation of reservoir production; evaluate multiple development scenarios to generate optimum field (re-)development strategy; and provide production forecast and reserves estimates.
We provide the expertise of production technologists on well stimulation; sand control; artificial lift; perforating; well construction; rock mechanics; forecasting multiphase flow; optimisation and chemistry; materials and equipment selection; planning, executing & operation across the lifecycle; and the entire production system from the reservoir to the export system to maximise its potential and ensure its integrity.

Value Enhancement System (VES™) delivers engineering and commercial innovation in previously thought uneconomic field.
Three Independent International Oil Operators and a group of London-based investors were sharing interest on a small, very challenging oil field in the North Sea and were looking for innovative ideas that could make their project economics attractive for development.
Abalt Solutions personnel and associates were invited to design a field development plan to achieve these goals. By applying Abalt’s proprietary Value Enhancement System (VES™) we were able to deliver an innovative new development approach to the field which included both engineering and commercial innovation. Project was executed by our engineers right on time, under budget.
